Caramel Syrup
- 1 cup of sugar
- ½ cup of water
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring the sugar to medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar melts and begins to boil. Let it boil until it turns brown. Don’t stir the caramel at this stage, or it could lose its point and harden, forming crystals.
- Add the water slowly and carefully. At this point, the caramel will harden all at once, squirt and steam. Reduce the fire.
- Continue cooking and stirring occasionally until the sugar is completely dissolved and a smooth syrup forms.
- Pour into shape and spread to the sides. The pan used in this recipe was a size 17 pan (3.5 liters).
Pudding
- 3 eggs
- 1 condensed milk
- The same measure as the box (of condensed milk) of whole milk
- 6 drops of vanilla (optional)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into shape. Cover the form with aluminum foil and secure the paper in the form (I used string).
- Heat the airfryer for 5 minutes at 360 °F (180 ºC).
- Carefully place the pan in the basket and program 20 to 25 minutes at 360 °F (180 ºC).
- After the time, turn off the airfryer and leave the pudding there until it gets warm.
- Carefully remove the pudding from the airfryer and remove the foil.
- Take a large plate, larger than the mold, and turn the pudding over. If it doesn’t come out, light the stove and pass the shape through the fire. Then the syrup will soften a little and leave.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
