Tapioca Dice in the Air Fryer

Tapioca dice in the air fryer are a beloved Brazilian snack that has won over palates from north to south of the country.

Traditionally made from tapioca pearls and cheese curds, these small crispy squares are a true explosion of flavor and texture.

With the air fryer, you can enjoy tapioca cubes in a healthier way, as they are cooked with less oil while maintaining their crispiness and authentic flavor.

These crispy snacks are ideal for any occasion – from appetizers at parties to casual snacks at home.

    Ingredients

    • 250g tapioca pearls
    • 300g grated cheese curds
    • 500ml milk
    • Salt to taste

    2. Transfer this dough to a square baking dish, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 3 hours to firm up.
    3. After the cooling time, remove the dough from the refrigerator and cut it into small cubes.
    4. Preheat the Air Fryer for approximately 5 minutes at 360°F (180°C).
    5. Place the dough cubes in the air fryer basket and set for about 15 minutes at 360°F (180°C), or until the tapioca cubes acquire a golden color.
    6. Once ready, remove the tapioca cubes from the air fryer and serve immediately.

They are perfect to be enjoyed with various sauces, such as jellies, hot sauce, or even accompanied by a fresh salad.
